Fairy Dust is truly magical. We joked about it, but then she had her first baby this past fall and she was instantly ‘everyones favorite mom’. All the babies hung around her and she let them all nurse from her! Her own cria, Glacier, was weaned at 78 lbs. so he certainly didn’t suffer at all from sharing her. She is a dream to manage and a true asset as a foundation dam.

Fairy Dust was the first cria born in our 2014 fall baby-season. She was the STAR of the show, from day one. As other cria were born, she was fully 'in charge'. After being the in the spotlight on the farm's Facebook Page that year, she always had many visitors. She has a hilarious and very 'interactive' personality now because of that popularity. she is easy to work with, and had her first cria 12/2017 - a white male named Glacier who is by sire Trapper. He has proven to be a phenominal cria growing quickly with excellent substance of bone, solid frame and very dense fleece as a newborn. Matter of fact, he is possibly the densest of the 2017 cria crop! It is this kind of production female that is worth her weight in Gold! She comes by it honestly, her dam... Xanadu P. Diamond Dust is still an excellent producer here at the ranch.

Lacking the typical 'typey' head, she hadn't attended any shows until the 2016 Gold Country Classic, where she was awarded a second place ribbon. Judge David Barboza did address her very nice fiber character and softness. We've thrilled to have here under ownership of Lori and Kirk Robinson as a production female for their program that brings more of the famous Hummingherd genetics in WHITE forward! As a Hummingherd's Levi's 501 daughter, she is one of the few in the West to carry his legacy on since he has been sold to LCF/Accoyo America in New York.

With top 1% studs here in white, we will be breeding Fairy Dust back for another amazing 2018 cria that is sure to sparkle just like her!
